There is no death.  There is only life - eternally unfolding in newness as God continues to explore the limitlessness of Its world through the limitlessness of Its creation.

Harry Potter is a world-wide phenomenon.  Sorcery and magic and spells and witchcraft are the stuff of these works and we have responded in staggering number.  Harry Potter continues to attract people from all ages and from all traditions - some who addictively stalk the theaters and bookstores and others who picket the same establishments.  And the important question addressed in this essay is, "Why?"

God is not love.

God is the eternal, indifferent and unlimited creative potential of this universe, available to all people at all times.  God doesn't care if you enroll It on behalf of creation or destruction.  God doesn't care if you enroll It on behalf of love or hate.  In fact, it's not in the nature of God to care whatsoever.

From the spiritual perspective, there is no evil.  There is only God.  There is only infinite creative power, without opposition, available to all people at all times.

It’s the most important line in the bible. Not that the bible, in any traditional sense, is an authority for me because it’s not. It says (and I paraphrase), “In the beginning, God created.”
